**HOT OFF THE PRESSES!! Cross Country and Stadium maps for 2025!!**
Cathy’s annual pilgrimage out to help out our War Horse Horse Trials was this weekend!! The weather was great on Friday - 50 degrees! Saturday was quite cold – 32 Degrees and then Sunday was 14 degrees!! Thank goodness she loves her job!!! Well, thank goodness for us!!! Are we all crazy eventers??!!
Since we had been running the same track for a few years, I asked her to change every division. So, there are new courses/tracks for everyone!! BN/N/T will be heading up into the woods using the double mound!! We’ve cleaned up that part of the woods/trail so we can now use it again!!The old Preliminary/Intermediate track, but we’ll be riding up instead of jumping down!!! Really fun…
Also with the new tracks, we’re going to be able to bring riders up to the front of the property in order to put the Tipasa Bank back on the course!!.. Warm Up for XC will be in the field where stadium is, so after warming up, you’ll still come across the bridge to the startbox! All xc and stadium maps are posted on the Feather Creek website!!!
Feather Creek's Annual party is in January (avoid the Christmas rush!)… and this year I wanted it to coincide with Cathy being here!! I asked her to speak to my riders about how we think about going down center line, entering the stadium ring, and how to learn to work with that!!... It was awesome!!... Thank you Cathy!!!
Then we had a great drum session!! Really fun night!!! Thank you to all of you who made it happen.

War Horse Event Series Championships November 2023!
Congratulations to the competitors from Areas IV and V who qualified at the Feather Creek Horse Trials and competed at the WHES Championships at the Carolina Horse Park last fall!!
This year we hope more riders from our region compete at the championships - best of luck this season!

Welcome to Feather Creek Farm! Where riders come to train on the historic Cross Country course and stay for the wonderful people. We host riding lessons, horse shows, clinics, and fun days; the facility is available for cross country schooling and Trainers Weekends. Trainer specializes in Three-Day Eventing.

Feather Creek Farm is an equestrian center located east of Norman on 90 acres of rolling hills. It offers two full size outdoor dressage/jumping arenas and one 80x120 indoor arena, all with premium footing. In addition, it offers a full cross country course for intro through modified riders. If you don’t jump, it’s not a problem! The tall trees and pecan grove make perfect scenery to get your horse out of the ring and out for a hack!
Inside the barn, your horse has the luxury of a 12x12 stall with pine shavings, grain fed twice daily, and plenty of high quality hay to meet athletes nutritional needs. Group and individual turn outs are offered with plenty of grazing grass to go around. The best part of all - Dynah, the property owner, lives on site!
